Monroe Lemaire

Monroe Lemaire is an award-winning essayist and early childhood educator with a deep commitment to civic engagement and social impact. Originally from Minnesota, Monroe began their journey in public service as an MN 4-H State Ambassador. They hold a dual degree in Education Studies and Theatre & Dramatic Arts from Columbia University, and have conducted research on early childhood pedagogies at Rockefeller University’s Child and Family Center. Monroe brings a unique blend of analytical rigor and creative storytelling to their grant writing, driven by a mission to advance equity and meaningful change through the power of narrative—whether on the page or in the community.
